No two web sites are the same. Everyone that works with us
requires a different look, feel, and functionality that represents
who they are and what they do. Since you are unique, our quotes
are written based on an hourly charge for time and labor spent.

Even though modern
software has made it easy for the average non-technical
person to create a web site, you should still hire a professional
if your core business is not technology. |
 |
 |
To determine a
price quote, AWWG will need to know the objective of your website. A good way to
start is to find sites already on the web that are similar in
nature to your needs. |
|
Topics
we will ask you about are possible layouts, graphics, logos,
photographs, number of pages, interactivity. e-commerce, database
connectivity, bandwidth requirements, backup needs, and
content details. |
 |
 |
After determining your requirements, we will provide you a
detailed time and labor quote (good for 30 days from date of
issue), for your review. We are available to meet in person in the
Greater Washington DC Area. |
|
Our dedicated staff will work with you from start to finish to
insure that your image and overall needs are met in a timely
fashion. We enjoy speaking with small non-profits equally as much
as fortune 100 companies! |
 |
 |
At present, we one of the most affordable web-development
companies in the area and currently offer to beat any legitimate,
written quote from a competitor offering comparable services and
solutions by 10% of their estimated cost. |

The Web Design Process:
- STAGE 1 - GET A NAME
Register a domain name for your new web site. This is the name by which
people will know you on the internet. The name should say something
about you or you business. This is a very important first step since
choice of name affects the overall design process. You can even
register several names that will all go to your web site.
We can help you with this process or you can begin right now, right
here. Millions of names have already
been registered and are not available (unless you buy it from the
owner). Be creating. If you find one you like, grab it right away.
Once it belongs to you, you can use it with us or with anyone else
that you might decide to hire to work on your web site.
- STAGE 2 - STRATEGY
The next step in building your web site is to determine your on-line
objectives, and the project goals to be achieved. We need to
know you, your business, expectations, customer base, etc., so that
the web site created will not only benefit you, but most important...
your customers. Our discussions and review of the information provided
will help lay the foundation and blueprints for the development of your
web site.
- STAGE 3 - WEB DESIGN
We cover how to structure the site so that your
customers find your web site: Easy to navigate. Easy to read.
Content is clear and to the point. Graphics are appealing to
the eye.
We define a design direction for the theme that would best meet your
business needs and objectives. The web design plan needs to cover
the right look and feel, the navigation (site map, image map, etc.)
and the overall layout of pages. AWWG provides a draft format of your
web site for your examination. Upon your approval, we will then
proceed to incorporate the 'final' user interface, graphics, and
designed architecture.
- STAGE 4 - TESTING AND REVIEWING
After completion of all content, graphics, links, etc., we will
test your web site to ensure that all elements perform as designed.
Once tested, we will load the pages on our web server for you
to review. After you have previewed the pages we will incorporate any
changes based on your review and satisfaction we have met your project
goals. Customers remain apprised of their project's progress through
regular phone communication or e-mail with AWWG's techs.
- STAGE 5 - LAUNCHING
Once we have reached the final completion of your web
site (links, graphics, content, etc.), the next step is to get your web
site ready for display on the Internet. The following steps comprise
this part of the process: Load files onto our web host server. Post
your site to one of several search engines, such as Excite and Yahoo.
Advertise the site, both online and in "old fasioned" ways. After this,
your customers are ready to reach your web site.
- STAGE 6 - MAINTENANCE
Time to market of your company's information is important! The ongoing
maintenance and content updating of your web site are critical and will
determine your success in selling and advertising of your products or
services on the Internet. By providing current, interesting and
appealing information, you'll continue to attract customers to review
and purchase your products and services, while keeping your competitors
at a disadvantage.
