- Why are your prices so low?
AWWG is a small business of a dozen full time staff and consultants that target individuals to mid-sized companies who are in need of affordable and reliable
computer services. We currently have shared office space and a "dark" hosting
facility. Most of our programmers/engineers telecommute and/or consult for us
on an as-needed basis. We intend to pace our growth as our customer base increases.
- What is your support like?
Currently, we are in the process of fully automating our hosting services and prefer to be contacted via email. In cases of emergencies, customers on our Profession or Delux Shared plans and customers on a Dedicated or Colocated plans can contact us by phone. Customers on our Economy and Basic plans are limited to email. Our email address is on our contact page.

- What is Bandwidth?
The term bandwidth refers to the speed of file transfer between any computer and the internet, or more specifically - how fast a browser can download information from a specific web-site. When you connect to the internet using a modem and phone line - you have very low bandwidth and things move slow due to your connection and not that of the server that the web-site is on. Even if you had a "high-speed" connection at home, legal restrictions prevent you from hosting your own site.
- What is E-commerce?
Electronic Commerce, is a buzz word that everyone gets way too excited about. It is simply a phrase that refers to some kind of business or financial transaction taking place over the web. AWWG offers e-commerce solutions tailored to the lower to middle-end retailer.

- What is a Search Engine?
A search engine is a group of computers that the above-mentioned "robots" (which are just software programs) report to. They are usually impartial to who gets displayed depending on what someone searches for (unless it's Excite or similar where you have to pay to list your site). Usually only major companies and or extremely well done sites get top rankings. The time you have been on the internet and the validity of your sites goal is also a deciding factor as to how high your "ranking" is.
